Initial Thoughts

So the Ijoy Avenger arrived at my door in a little wooden box, very sturdy! On opening the box I was impressed quite a bit by the colour of the tank, the colour is champagne gold, and the tank does look totally stunning. Unfortunately the colour of the mod doesn’t really match the tank, as the colour seems slightly duller and flatter. Now this is a little bit annoying as the kit would have looked tons better if they were the exact same colour as the tank, you can see in the photo’s how they are just slightly different  Continue reading “The IJOY Avenger Review – Artificial Intelligence or Pure Stupidity?”

1* User Manual
1* 510 Delrin tip
1*510 Drip tip adaptor
1* Spare parts pack

Looks & Initial Thoughts

The Loop deck is different, and this is what had me so interested in this from the start. It comes boxed pretty nicely, the same kind of see through plastic box that Geekvape normally use, and you get the normal spares, allen key, drip tip adapter and so on.

The Loop looks OK, I have the black one  :sad5: (I don’t like black vape gear…) Anyhow the Loop is a 24mm diameter RDA, standing around 34mm tall, so not overly big. It’s comprised of 3 parts, the mouthpiece, cap and base. The 810 drip tip is described as silver! Its not silver, it’s like a see through grey!  And the mouthpiece also has the word ‘Geekvape’ around the side. Continue reading “Geekvape Loop RDA Review – Will it send you ‘Loopy’!”

The Augvape Templar Review – Is It a Knight In Shining Armour?

Hey y’all, I have a couple of RDA’s to review this month, many thanks to our new sponsor Urvapin for sending these out.

The first up for review is the Augvape Templar.

Features:
Anti-Spitback
Velocity Clamp System (Easy to build for beginners)
Deep juice well
Three-layers airflow control

Specifications:
Stainless Steel 304
24mm(D)*27mm(H)
810 Derlin Drip Tip ( 510 adapter included)
Extra Frosted Bullet Cap
Insulator made of Zirconium dioxide (Dental fillings)
An Ultem Chamber Reducer and a gold-plated Squonk/BF pin are included
Colors: Black, Stainless Steel

Package List:

1*Templar RDA
1* bag of spare parts
1*Extra Bullet Cap

First Impressions

The Templar came packaged pretty much the same as the Druga and the Merlin in a circular tube like box, with the actual RDA protectively surrounded by foam (keeps it nice and safe)

This is a low profile RDA, and it is quite a small little fella at 24mm diameter. It comes with 2 top caps. A 2 section metal with adjustable airflow, and a 810 mouthpiece (there is also a 510 convertor in the box) and a frosted bullet cap. These both look pretty nice when in place. The standard cap directs airflow onto the coils from side on, and the frosted cap directs the airflow from slightly above (depending of course on how high you position your coils) Continue reading “The Augvape Templar Review – Is It a Knight In Shining Armour?”

Looks & Initial Thoughts

Tom always looks after me, and knows that I’m not keen on black coloured vape gear, so when the box came and had the picture of a black mod emblazoned across the front, I was pretty gutted to say the least. Preparing to be totally gutted, I opened the box to find this stunning rainbow coloured mod staring back at me.

The design seems pretty Retro looking to me, and I have to say, it looks way better in the flesh, than in the pics. It has these lines (rather like a grill) on each side, and does have a somewhat mechanical feel to it (not as in a mech mod, but rather like all pieces fitting together to make… well the Espion mod) It has a small Joyetech logo on one side, and Espion Solo on the other. And then on the button is the 10th Anniversary limited edition print. It actually does look pretty good, and I’m sure the colour helps me to like it immensely.

The ProCore Air tank is rainbow coloured too, and popped onto the top of the mod, they do make quite an eye catching combination.

This is a single battery mod, with a curved back/battery cover, so it is nice and comfy to hold, and once I installed the battery it is heavy enough for you to know that you’re holding what feels like a quality device.

And the nice surprise is, it’s a touch screen mod!  :ting:

Eleaf iStick Pico Baby Review – ‘Stealth Anyone?’

Massive thanks to Tom over at vapesourcing.com who sent me out a couple of things to try this month. One of them being the very teeny Eleaf iStick Pico Baby! Sure has a long name for such a little thing… I’m just gonna call it the Pico baby

1× GS Baby Atomizer
1× Magnetic Connector
2× GS Air 0.75ohm Heads
1× USB Cable
2× User Manuals

Initial Thoughts & Looks

So when I opened the box the first thing to greet me was the colour, I think it’s supposed to be purple but it’s more of a magenta/pink kind of colour. I like it, it’s feminine and fun!

I’ve always loved Pico’s, I’ve got through 3 of the standard pico’s (I kind of worked them to death!)
And I’ve always loved cute, small little novelty type mods, so this ticks both of those boxes. The thing is though small and cute mods don’t really cut it for me anymore, I’m more used to larger devices now. But… I’ll give small and cute a go  Continue reading “Eleaf iStick Pico Baby Review – ‘Stealth Anyone?’”

Eleaf iJust 3 – Could This Be ‘Just’ What You Need?

Wotcha folks, staying in the starter kit category in this review with the iJust 3 that the lovely folks at Eleaf sent out for me to test, thank you to Holy for arranging this. I had one of the old iJust 2’s when they came out, and this was at a time when I wasn’t over keen on direct lung inhaling, now I’m a fully fledged cloud blower so I have really put this kit through its paces.

How it Looks & Initial Thoughts on the iJust 3

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and was greeted by this lovely purple patterned mod. The Uwell Nunchaku Review

So Ceekays vape shack has teamed up again with Vaporl for the month of April, and the lovely folks there sent me out the Uwell Nunchacku for me to feast my beady eyes upon, and what a treat it is! Had to look up Nunchaku in the dictionary… knew I’d heard it before (I was maybe thinking of nunchuck on the Wii  a Japanese martial arts weapon consisting of two hardwood sticks joined together by a chain, rope, or thong. Hmm there you go!

Lets start with the Nunchaku specs

Replacement 18650 battery or charge over usb
Plug-pull coils, easy to replace.

In the box

1 x Nunchaku Mod
1 x Nunchaku Atomizer

1 x 0.4Ω Coil
1 x Pack of Replacement O-rings
1 x Micro USB Cable
1 x User Manual
1 x Drip Tip Cover(used to cover the drip tip while not using)

So when I opened the box I was thoroughly impressed with the way the Nunchaku was packed. The tank and battery section were in separate slots and both were wrapped in extremely soft plastic (maybe not plastic) bags… I could see the colour through the bags and this caught my attention straight the way…. Blue! One of my favouite colours. Now as you all now, I’m a bit shallow in the fact that I do like mods to look nice, and I’m not overkeen on the colour black for mods (boring!) so I couldn’t wait to get this baby unwrapped…. so skip forward a couple of minutes, and I may have looked a little like this :love2: Continue reading “The Uwell Nunchaku Review”

Aspire SkyStar – Could This Be The Star in Aspires Line Up?

After reviewing the Aspire Speeder a while ago (and hating it) I promised myself that I would never touch another Aspire product in my life. However when the Skystar came out, I kind of went against my own rules! (I’m a woman! We’re allowed to do that!) I loved the look of the mod, and thought I would give Aspire a second chance

So I ordered that SkyStar Revvo kit. The Revvo is already reviewed and you can see that here, but these are my thoughts on the SkyStar mod.

Bearing in mind that I purchased this as a kit, these are the specs:

Aspire SkyStar Mod Specs

210W Maximum output Power
1.3 inch Touch Screen
Spring Loaded 510 Connection
Two 18650 Batteries (Not Included)
Micro USB Port for Charging/Firmware updates

In The Box:

1x Aspire SkyStar 210w Mod
1x Aspire Revvo Tank
1x Protective Silicone Cap
1x Micro USB Charge Cable
2x Revvo Tank Coils
1x Replacement Glass
1x User Manual
1x Warranty Card

Initial Thoughts

When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised, the SkyStar doesn’t look half bad. In it’s pics it reminded me of a shiny pebble, like one of those chalk rocks you find on the beach that has been smoothed all over by rolling around in the sea! I got the white one, which is maybe why I have that image in mind. It’s also available in some other different colours and finishes, including woodgrain! (hate that one! )

Picking it up out of the box, and I was surprised, the SkyStar is lightweight… very lightweight. No idea why, but I tend to put light mods like this instantly in the cheap pile! The second thing that made it feel cheap, it feels plasticky! These back and front panels are just cheap plastic… ughh not a good start Aspire  :no2: and I so wanted you to redeem yourself with this mod. The chrome parts are metal, which is good, after the panels I was expecting them to be plastic covered in some kind of metallic paint, but I guess Aspire didn’t totally cheap it out! The Vaptio Super Bat Kit – Hero or Villain?

In The Box

Vaptio Super Bat Mod
Vaptio Frogman Tank (kit version only)

First impressions

When I opened the box, I was quite surprised at how shiny the Super Bat mod actually is. I have the red and silver version, the red is a matte finish, with the silver being glossy and smooth. It looks really great, a real fun looking mod. It has Batman shaped head on the front with light up eyes! (and we all know how much I like LED’s ) I love the look this, it’s a bit of fun and makes the mod look really great. The two side panels are silver, one is a full panel button, like you get on some of the smok mods.

The back of the mod has what I can only assume is the back of Batman‘s head  :dunno: and maybe his wings? This incorporates six LEDs that you can set to flash, pulse, solid colour, there seem to be plenty of options. Or if you don’t like your mod looking like Blackpool illuminations you can switch the LEDs off completely   :wink2:

The mod is quite heavy even without a couple of batteries installed, but it does have a real good quality feel to it.
