We now have a forum integrated into the review blog! How fab is that 😀
I gathered that not many vapers really like the old style SMF forum layout that we have, so I decided to add a forum right here. You can find it via the ‘Forum’ button at the top menu bar, or here.
Now bear in mind this is a brand new forum, and still in its infancy stage. More categories and sub forums will be added as needed, but if you fancy being part of a brand new community, then why not come and join us!
We’re here to help with problems, offer advice if we can, and chat about anything vape related, from vendors and manufacturers, to mods and tanks.
Please feel free to come and register with us, or login via Facebook, and have a look around. Suggestions for sub-forums and boards are always welcome as we’d like you to feel a valued part of our sparkling new venture!
So why not tell your friends and family, and we’ll hopefully see you there! 🙂
So Wotofo are at it again, more new vape stuff, and I was lucky enough to be sent the Serpent Elevate to try out – A huge thanks to Wotofo for that. Initial Thoughts on the Serpent Elevate
So you folks are going to get a slightly different package to what I got, You are going to get the black coil trimming tool seen in this image, and also a glass bubble section (tank glass) (I didn’t get this tool, and my bubble sleeve is plastic) Of course I would imagine if you’re in the EU and you purchase in the EU you won’t get the bubble glass as we have laws!
Anyhow, you get the full Wotofo works like usual, lots of little packages, with spares, coils, cotton… I love this so much! There’s everything in the box to get you up and vaping with the Elevate, you don’t need to go scratching around in your cupboards for coil building supplies and tools! And of course you get the Serpent Elevate. Continue reading “Wotofo Serpent Elevate RTA – Is This a Slithering Success?”

1×HW-M Dual 0.2ohm Head (Pre-installed)
Initial Thoughts on the iStick Nowos
Opening the box, and I was pleasantly surprised, the Nowos looks rather sleek and the lack of any buttons apart from the firing button had me rather confused. I normally don’t read the manual unless I have to, and with this…. I had to! I assumed that I would need to twist the fire button to change the settings, but nope… more on this a little later.
So, the Nowos has 2 plain white side panels, the Eleaf logo on one side, and the iStick Nowos logo on the other. The edges of the mod are silver metal, with the fire button on one edge. Turn the mod around and on the opposite edge you have the charging port. On the bottom you have 4 vent holes, and on the top the nice springy 510 pin and plate. Ceekays vape shack sponsors Vapesourcing.com sent me the Eleaf ECM kit to have a play with, it’s a stick type device. Very similar to the last iJust 3 device that I reviewed a while ago, so will be interesting to what the difference is, if there’s any at all
1 x iJust ECM Battery
1 x iJust ECM Atomizer
1 x EC-N 0.15ohm Head
1 x EC-M 0.15ohm Head
1 x USB Cable
2 x User Manuals
Well the iJust ECM comes in 4 beautiful colours, and black! And guess which one I got So not terribly impressed by the colour, looks wise it’s very similar to the iJust 3, with a couple of differences. Different patterns on the battery, and the tank is slightly different too. The button on the last one was a hexagon, the button on the ECM is triangular… so they have changed a few things, but still playing on shapes.
It’s no secret that I hate Pod systems, hate with a pure driven passion. Probably because they don’t do anything for me, and I find them hard work, hard to draw on, especially if they’re an auto battery.
So when the Smok Novo Pod system turned up at my door, courtesy of Vapesourcing.com it was kind of a ‘M’eh’ moment!
I intend to do a quick review, my thoughts and then this pod can go back in it’s box….
The Smok Novo Pod
Opening the box and… well the Smok Novo is ok to look at, I’ve seen worse. I have the blue one with a kind of silver snakeskin type pattern on it. There’s the Smok logo on one side, and the Novo logo on the other. The edge all around the pod is metal. It doesn’t look bad if I’m honest. One side has a small light in the centre, and this lights up as you vape.
A huge thanks to the lovely folks over at Urvapin.com for sending out the Hugo Vapor Delux for me have a play with. Lets start with some specs.

In The Box:

Initial Thoughts on the Delux
So the Hugo Vapor Delux, a bit of a weird one in my opinion! It comes in a flip top box and you’ll find it nestled in some velvety packing foam, along with a smaller box to one that holds the USB cable, instantly I find myself taking a bit of a dislike to the shape. Its kind of oblong shaped with a circle part at the top, it’s kind of retro looking, and reminds me of something you would find in an old sci fi movie…. Continue reading “Hugo Vapor Delux Review”
A huge thanks to Wotofo for sending this out for review. The description on the Wotofo official site states this:
Presenting the most ideal starter kit, the Wotofo & Rig Mod Flux Kit! This kit contains a Flux Mod and a Flow Pro SubTank. The Flux Mod is co-designed with the renowned American brand Rig Mod and features the simplest operation interface but provides powerful firing options according to your needs. OK so thats the basics, lets get on with trying this bad boy out…. Continue reading “Wotofo & Rig Mod Flux Kit – Reviewed”
This was sent to me by Vapesourcing.com for the purpose of this review so a huge shout out and thanks to them
The Luxotic MF is a bit of an all rounder in the vaping world, it can be a single battery squonk mod, or a dual battery VW wattage/temp control mod. The big feature with the mod is that you can change the 100w board for a direct output board that makes it run like a mech mod. This can be used in either dual battery configuration or single battery squonk configuration… The confusing thing seems to be, why add the direct output board when you can run the 100w chip in bypass mode?
So on opening the box you’re met with a whole array of spare parts, the mod, the direct output board. The guillotine 2 RDA, which I’m actually not going to do a full review on, although I will give a few thoughts on this.
Massive thanks to Eleaf for sending out the iStick Amnis kit for me to take a look over. With GS Drive!….. makes it sound like you can sit in it and go for a ride!. Actually the GS Drive is a tank (not a sit in tank, a vape tank!)
Istick Amnis Specs
Battery: 900mAh internal
Output wattage: 30W max
Resistance range: 0.15-3ohm
Rubber paint finish
Colour battery indicator LED
E-liquid capacity: 2ml
Uses GS air coils – including new Mesh coil
Retractable top fill with child lock
In the Box
Eleaf iStick Amnis mod
Eleaf GS Drive tank
GS Air Mesh 0.35ohm coil
GS Air 0.75ohm coil
QC USB Cable
So this is back to the days of small and cute in something that isn’t a pod! (thank gawd for that!)
The Amnis kit comes in 2 sections, the battery and the tank. The battery is nicely curved to fit the shape of your hand, making it super comfy to hold, and it has that rubber paint finish (which I am really starting to appreciate) The paint gives the battery a super smooth finish, and makes it more resistant to chipping and scratching if you have this in your pocket, or you’re clumsy like me and prone to dropping things
I have had a couple of the Ego AIOs over the years, and have always liked the compactness and design of these little pen type devices, and this one is no different. The Aio is white, with a modern red line design (it looks rather like the London underground map! ) The paintwork has a matte finish, overall it looks very nice.
