Wismec Active & Amor NSE Review – Vape & Music Anyone? — (I killed it! )

(A quick note, if you skip some of this review, just make sure you read the bonus content at the bottom!)

Massive thanks to our sponsor Vapesourcing.com for sending me out the Wismec Active mod and Amor NSE tank to take a little look at.

The Wismec Active is supposedly a rugged little soldier, shock proof, waterproof, and Bluetooth enabled. Why Bluetooth enabled?…. So you can play your music through it of course!

Why would anyone want to play music through their mod? I have no idea… Seems a little bit gimmicky to me, maybe aimed at the younger vaping generation (18+ of course)    The picture on the packaging shows someone abseiling down the side of the box… Hmmm classic!

The tank has the bubble glass fitted which holds 4ml of liquid, and there is also a spare 2ml glass in the box. It has a nice matching honeycomb style drip tip on the top of the tank.

Wotofo Serpent Elevate RTA – Is This a Slithering Success?

So Wotofo are at it again, more new vape stuff, and I was lucky enough to be sent the Serpent Elevate to try out – A huge thanks to Wotofo for that. It’s no secret that I love RTA’s, I don’t have to remember to keep dripping or squonking, and I can throw it in my pocket and take it out (hopefully!) without drowning the inside of my pocket in e-liquid. Initial Thoughts on the Serpent Elevate

So you folks are going to get a slightly different package to what I got, You are going to get the black coil trimming tool seen in this image, and also a glass bubble section (tank glass) (I didn’t get this tool, and my bubble sleeve is plastic) Of course I would imagine if you’re in the EU and you purchase in the EU you won’t get the bubble glass as we have laws!

Courtesy of Wotofo

Anyhow, you get the full Wotofo works like usual, lots of little packages, with spares, coils, cotton… I love this so much! There’s everything in the box to get you up and vaping with the Elevate, you don’t need to go scratching around in your cupboards for coil building supplies and tools!  And of course you get the Serpent Elevate.

Massive thanks to Eleaf for sending me the iStick Nowos to cast my beady eyes over. This kit actually got me a little bit excited… it’s something slightly different!

1×QC 3.0 USB Cable
2×User Manuals
Spare Parts
1×HW-M Dual 0.2ohm Head (Pre-installed)

Initial Thoughts on the iStick Nowos

Opening the box, and I was pleasantly surprised, the Nowos looks rather sleek and the lack of any buttons apart from the firing button had me rather confused. I normally don’t read the manual unless I have to, and with this…. I had to! I assumed that I would need to twist the fire button to change the settings, but nope…  :dunno: more on this a little later.

So, the Nowos has 2 plain white side panels, the Eleaf logo on one side, and the iStick Nowos logo on the other. The edges of the mod are silver metal, with the fire button on one edge. Turn the mod around and on the opposite edge you have the charging port. On the bottom you have 4 vent holes, and on the top the nice springy 510 pin and plate. Eleaf iJust ECM Review & A Feeling Of “Déjà Vu”

Ceekays vape shack sponsors Vapesourcing.com sent me the Eleaf ECM kit to have a play with, it’s a stick type device. Very similar to the last iJust 3 device that I reviewed a while ago, so will be interesting to what the difference is, if there’s any at all  :dunno:

iJust ECM Specs

Diameter: 25mm
Height: 136mm
E-liquid capacity: 4ml
Battery capacity: Built-in 3000mAh Battery
Output wattage: 40W max
Resistance range: 0.1Ω-3.0Ω

Eleaf iJust ECM Kit – In The Box

1 x iJust ECM Battery
1 x iJust ECM Atomizer
1 x EC-N 0.15ohm Head
1 x EC-M 0.15ohm Head
1 x USB Cable
2 x User Manuals
Spare Parts

Initial Thoughts

Well the iJust ECM comes in 4 beautiful colours, and black! And guess which one I got  So not terribly impressed by the colour, looks wise it’s very similar to the iJust 3, with a couple of differences. Different patterns on the battery, and the tank is slightly different too. The button on the last one was a hexagon, the button on the ECM is triangular… so they have changed a few things, but still playing on shapes.

Smok Novo Pod System – Is It Just ‘Another’ Pod?

It’s no secret that I hate Pod systems, hate with a pure driven passion. Probably because they don’t do anything for me, and I find them hard work, hard to draw on, especially if they’re an auto battery.

So when the Smok Novo Pod system turned up at my door, courtesy of Vapesourcing.com it was kind of a ‘M’eh’ moment!

I intend to do a quick review, my thoughts and then this pod can go back in it’s box….

Smok Novo Specs:

Parameters
Size: 88.3×24.3×14.3mm
Battery Capacity: 450mAh
Power Range: 10W-16W
Standby Current: <200uA
Capacity: 2ml

In The Box:

1×NOVO Mod
2×Pod(No e-liquid)
1×USB Cable
1×User Manual

The Smok Novo Pod

Opening the box and… well the Smok Novo is ok to look at, I’ve seen worse. I have the blue one with a kind of silver snakeskin type pattern on it. There’s the Smok logo on one side, and the Novo logo on the other. The edge all around the pod is metal. It doesn’t look bad if I’m honest. One side has a small light in the centre, and this lights up as you vape.

The Nikola Medea Mod – Reviewed

Massive thanks to the folks over at Urvapin.com for sending out the Nikola Medea for me to try. The Medea has been out for a while now, and it’s a mod that I have drooled over everytime I’ve seen it posted on the forum, so I was eager to get my mitts on this and try it out!

In The Box:

1x Medea Mod
1x USB Cable

Initial Thoughts

The Medea came nicely packaged in a strong box, but let’s face it, most mods are in decent packaging these days. Opening the packaging and I was actually quite shocked, the Meadea was much bigger than I had expected!  :oooo: Yes its a dual 18650 mod, but it could be smaller! Maybe its the pattern that is around the outside, the contours, which are very nice I might add, but if it was a flat finish I believe it could knock a centimetre off the size.

Anyhow, Its a brushed steel body and then it looks painted/laquered over the top and it really is a lovely finish. I got the blue one, it’s a stunning colour it really does suit the design. The blue almost looks like silk as the light reflects off the contours  There is no Medea logo, only the brand name Nikola on the battery door. Initial Thoughts on the Delux

So the Hugo Vapor Delux, a bit of a weird one in my opinion! It comes in a flip top box and you’ll find it nestled in some velvety packing foam, along with a smaller box to one that holds the USB cable, instantly I find myself taking a bit of a dislike to the shape. Its kind of oblong shaped with a circle part at the top, it’s kind of retro looking, and reminds me of something you would find in an old sci fi movie….  Continue reading “Hugo Vapor Delux Review”

Wismec Luxotic MF Mod Review

This was sent to me by Vapesourcing.com for the purpose of this review so a huge shout out and thanks to them

The Luxotic MF is a bit of an all rounder in the vaping world, it can be a single battery squonk mod, or a dual battery VW wattage/temp control mod. The big feature with the mod is that you can change the 100w board for a direct output board that makes it run like a mech mod. This can be used in either dual battery configuration or single battery squonk configuration… The confusing thing seems to be, why add the direct output board when you can run the 100w chip in bypass mode?

Initial Thoughts

So on opening the box you’re met with a whole array of spare parts, the mod, the direct output board. The guillotine 2 RDA, which I’m actually not going to do a full review on, although I will give a few thoughts on this.
