Looks & Initial Thoughts

First off, I’m going to bypass the fact that the kit is black! If you know me, you know that I hate black vape gear! So, moving on…

The Pico S retains the basic shape of the original Pico’s, fire button stays in the same place, and the screen too. The biggest makeover seems to be that the whole battery tube unscrews, and there is now a gap between the battery sleeve and the rest of the mod. In between these 2 sections there are a row of LED’s that flash when the button is pressed, and reflect on the battery tube. This seems a little strange as they are mostly hidden, however if you want a mod with lights that aren’t ‘in your face’ then this fits the bill  Continue reading “Eleaf iStick Pico S Review”

Eleaf Lexicon Review – Futuristic or Far Back?

The lovely Holy from Eleaf sent me out the Eleaf Lexicon to try and see what I thought of it.

Battery type: dual 18650s
Output wattage: 235W max

1×ELLO Duro Atomizer (2ml)
1×HW-N 0.2ohm Head
1×HW-M 0.15ohm Head
1×QC USB Cable
2×User Manuals
Spare Parts

Initial Thoughts.

Opening the box I was greeted with a lovely rainbow colour mod, and a rainbow coloured Ello Duro tank. The tank being slightly different from the last one I received as this one is pre-installed with a mint green acrylic tube (there is a glass one in the box) with a swirl design in it, and a matching drip tip. I have to say the tank really does look the biz!

The mod itself, bit of a strange shape actually  its practically oblong with 2 corners cut off the top and what looks like little mirrors in place of the corners. Beautiful anodised rainbow colour and…. rather than me trying to describe the shape of the LEDs cut into the mod, take a quick look at the pics.  Continue reading “Eleaf Lexicon Review – Futuristic or Far Back?”

The Augvape Templar Review – Is It a Knight In Shining Armour?

Hey y’all, I have a couple of RDA’s to review this month, many thanks to our new sponsor Urvapin for sending these out.

The first up for review is the Augvape Templar.

Features:
Anti-Spitback
Velocity Clamp System (Easy to build for beginners)
Deep juice well
Three-layers airflow control

Specifications:
Stainless Steel 304
24mm(D)*27mm(H)
810 Derlin Drip Tip ( 510 adapter included)
Extra Frosted Bullet Cap
Insulator made of Zirconium dioxide (Dental fillings)
An Ultem Chamber Reducer and a gold-plated Squonk/BF pin are included
Colors: Black, Stainless Steel

Package List:

1*Templar RDA
1* bag of spare parts
1*Extra Bullet Cap

First Impressions

The Templar came packaged pretty much the same as the Druga and the Merlin in a circular tube like box, with the actual RDA protectively surrounded by foam (keeps it nice and safe)

This is a low profile RDA, and it is quite a small little fella at 24mm diameter. It comes with 2 top caps. A 2 section metal with adjustable airflow, and a 810 mouthpiece (there is also a 510 convertor in the box) and a frosted bullet cap. These both look pretty nice when in place. The standard cap directs airflow onto the coils from side on, and the frosted cap directs the airflow from slightly above (depending of course on how high you position your coils) Continue reading “The Augvape Templar Review – Is It a Knight In Shining Armour?”

Eleaf iJust 3 – Could This Be ‘Just’ What You Need?

Wotcha folks, staying in the starter kit category in this review with the iJust 3 that the lovely folks at Eleaf sent out for me to test, thank you to Holy for arranging this. I had one of the old iJust 2’s when they came out, and this was at a time when I wasn’t over keen on direct lung inhaling, now I’m a fully fledged cloud blower so I have really put this kit through its paces.

Lets start with iJust 3 Specs

E-liquid capacity: 6.5ml / 2ml

How it Looks & Initial Thoughts on the iJust 3

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and was greeted by this lovely purple patterned mod. I’m a sucker for lovely colours and good looking vape kits and this did indeed catch my eye and make me feel all happy and warm inside! But as we all know it’s not just about looking good, it actually has to work well too! Continue reading “Eleaf iJust 3 – Could This Be ‘Just’ What You Need?”

The Uwell Nunchaku Review

So Ceekays vape shack has teamed up again with Vaporl for the month of April, and the lovely folks there sent me out the Uwell Nunchacku for me to feast my beady eyes upon, and what a treat it is! Had to look up Nunchaku in the dictionary… knew I’d heard it before (I was maybe thinking of nunchuck on the Wii  a Japanese martial arts weapon consisting of two hardwood sticks joined together by a chain, rope, or thong. Hmm there you go!

Lets start with the Nunchaku specs

Tank Capacity: 5ml
Mod Size: 27.4mm(d) x 94.5mm(h)
Material:stainless steel & quartz glass & copper &silicone
Power Range: 5-80W
Working Modes: Power Mode, TC Mode(Ni, SS), Bypass Mode
Battery Type: 1 x 18650
Standby Current: <50μA
Voltage Range: 0.7V-7.0V
Resistance Range: 0.1Ω-3Ω(VW), 0.1Ω-1Ω(TC), 0.1Ω-0.5Ω(Bypass)
Temperature Range: 200°F-600°F/100°C-300°C
A new generation of E-cigarette control panel by our independent R&D, makes the tube as safe as a box mod.
Replacement 18650 battery or charge over usb
Plug-pull coils, easy to replace.

In the box

1 x Nunchaku Mod
1 x Nunchaku Atomizer
1 x Extra Quartz Glass
1 x 0.25Ω Coil(pre-installed)
1 x 0.4Ω Coil
1 x Pack of Replacement O-rings
1 x Micro USB Cable
1 x User Manual
1 x Drip Tip Cover(used to cover the drip tip while not using)

So when I opened the box I was thoroughly impressed with the way the Nunchaku was packed. The tank and battery section were in separate slots and both were wrapped in extremely soft plastic (maybe not plastic) bags… I could see the colour through the bags and this caught my attention straight the way…. Blue! One of my favouite colours. Now as you all now, I’m a bit shallow in the fact that I do like mods to look nice, and I’m not overkeen on the colour black for mods (boring!) so I couldn’t wait to get this baby unwrapped…. so skip forward a couple of minutes, and I may have looked a little like this :love2: Continue reading “The Uwell Nunchaku Review”

Vaptio Solo Flat – Review

So a huge thanks to Vaptio for sending out the latest couple of kits. The Solo Flat pod device, and The Super Bat Kit (which I shall hopefully be reviewing next week) So for now lets take a look at the…

Solo Flat specs.

Size: 128×20.3×13.8mm
Battery capacity: 650mAh internal battery
Output power: 15W
Coil resistance: 1ohm
Capacity: 1.5ml
Less than 2 hours to charge
LED Indicator
Top fill
Automatic fire

In The Box

Vaptio Solo-Flat Pod Mod
Solo-Flat drip tip
2x Solo-Flat pod
User manual
USB Cable

Initial Thoughts

So the Solo Flat is another pod style starter device, and by pod style I mean the atomiser is actually built in to the tank. So you relplace that whole section, not just the atomizer. Its sleek looking, tapered at the mouthpiece, and this mouthpiece is actually very comfy and natural feeling

There is a tank level window on the side, so you can see how much liquid you have left, or that’s what should happen in theory. I use clear liquid and to be honest have to squint and even shine a light on the window to see anything at all. Continue reading “Vaptio Solo Flat – Review”

Aspire Revvo Tank – Is It Revvo-lutionary? (Find out in the review!)

The Aspire Revvo tank came as part of a kit that I purchased the with Aspire Skystar mod, and I will get round to reviewing the mod in the future. For now though I just wanted to tell you guys my thoughts on the Revvo tank.

Aspire Revvo Tank Specs

41mm Height
24mm Width
2ml Capacity
Adjustable Top Airflow
510 Threading
New ARC Coil Technology
Top Filling System

Looks & Initial thoughts

It looks a little on the strange side, not a particularly good looking tank, but not down right ugly either. I’m not a lover of the colour black on mods or tanks, and this comes in 5 colours… all with black! So this for me is a negative to start. I guess it kind of matches the black screen and button on the skystar, but thats about it  :dunno:

The glass is tiny! But of course it’s not Aspires fault that when purchasing in the UK we are limited to 2ml tanks. The top section, air flow ring and mouthpiece can all be removed as one section, or the mouthpiece will also unscrew to make it two parts. And I keep saying mouthpiece because that’s what it is. It’s not a drip tip, its a whole mouthpiece section which screws onto the airflow collar, due to this you cannot use your own drip tips, which is a shame  The mouthpiece is slightly tapered towards the top, and it is fairly comfy to use. The air flow ring has three rather large airflow holes, and these can be closed down to give quite a restricted draw. Continue reading “Aspire Revvo Tank – Is It Revvo-lutionary? The Vandy Vape Phobia Review – Earplugs Needed!

So our new sponsor ‘Healthcabin.net’ joined us for the month of March, thank you Healthcabin  :wink2: and they sent me out the Vandy Vape Phobia to give the once over.
Vandy Vape have made this RDA in conjunction with Alex From VapersMD  (I don’t know who that is… !! :fp2: )

Lets start with:

Vandy Vape Phobia Specs:

Length: 24mm
Diameter: 24mm
Atomizer Type: Rebuildable dripping atomizer
Connection Type: 510 thread
Drip Tip Type: 810 Ultem drip tip
Color: Silver
Unit:1Set
Package:Gift Box

In the Box

1pc Vandy Vape PHOBIA RDA
1pc Drip Tip
1pc Airflow Cap
1pc User Manual
1 bag of spares

So the first surprise when the Phobia arrived was the fact that it has two top caps! One is a domed top cap with a very low profile (is this ULTEM? I don’t know, its yellow so probably… ) 810 drip tip, and the other one is a barrel with a chuff cap on top. The standard cap has the wording ‘no more fear no more phobias’ running around the top edge – Not sure what thats about?  :dunno: Continue reading “The Vandy Vape Phobia Review – Earplugs Needed!”

ELFC Original Recipe Flavour Shots – Bohemian Raspberry, Tropik, Citrus Smash – Reviewed!

Ashley from over at ELFC sent me three new flavours out to try, they came as flavour shots in 120ml bottles with 24ml of flavour concentrate already in there. So basically you just add your own nic and diluents. I added 100ml in total. 70% VG and 30% PG and 0.2% nicotine.

Give them a good shake and it does say on the bottle they need 4 – 6 weeks steeping. But me being… erm me, can’t wait that long!!

So I tried straight the way, and to be honest they were all pretty nice right off the bat. Now it’s almost 2 weeks later and I’m giving them another try. Continue reading “ELFC Original Recipe Flavour Shots – Bohemian Raspberry, Tropik, Citrus Smash – Reviewed!”

Wismec Luxotic – Luxurious or Luxed Out?

Before anyone says it… I know Luxed isn’t a word!  :laughtears:

It seems that a lot of companies are jumping on the ‘squonk wagon’ right now and why should Wismec be any different! Now they’ve had their fair share of cracking devices (some that have developed problems with the 510, or in my case sticky buttons) but they have had some pretty good innovative designs over the last few years. And it always seems one step better when it has Jaybo’s name on it.

So onto the Wismec Luxotic specs:

Size: 43.2*25.1*76.7mm
Thread type: 510 spring loaded connector
Cell type: high-rate 18650 cell
Max output wattage: 100W

Tobhino BF RDA
Height: 28.7mm
Diameter: 22mm

Decorative ring
Height: 5.4mm
Diameter: 25mm

In the box:

1 * LUXOTIC BF BOX
1 * Tobhino BF RDA
1 * E-liquid Bottle
2 * Clapton Coil
1 * Cotton
1 * 810 Top Cap
2 * User Manual
1 * Warning Card
Spare Parts

First Thoughts

I didn’t have to open the box as there is a clear front panel, but my initial thoughts were on the size, its small and cute! Tom sent  me the green honeycomb design Luxotic which I’m actually quite pleased about, lots of mods have the resin finish at the moment and it was rather nice to get something different.

The top cap on the RDA is a little weird looking, and I was surprised to see it with a 510 drip tip, things will get a little hot with that on surely? but we’ll get into that later…. Continue reading “Wismec Luxotic – Luxurious or Luxed Out?”
